I first ordered the 1961 strat and didn't like the tone at all. It sounded brittle and didn't break up a way that sounded pleasing to me. The action and general setup was horrible which didn't help.

1. Clean amp emulations (ie JC-120 type stuff) INCREDIBLE! 2. Distorted amp emulations (ie JCM800) forget it. 3. Effects... oh yes, you want it, you got it, studio quality.
