Solasta uses the DnD ruleset, but it doesn't take place in any familiar IPs (Forgotten Realms, Dark Sun, ...) but they made their own world (most likely a cost issue). From the gameplay (played maybe 1 hour ~6months ago) I like it. 1 Modding solasta very easy took me around thirty minutes. 2. I am using the Community mod and unfinished business the two of them are working fine with the new DLC. 3. The community Mod opens up the background so you can choose whatever you like of the professions available.
