Since there is a check valve between the small tank and the rear air tank no air enters the rear air tank from the aux air compressor. Idea being that if one air system fails and loses pressure the other can keep your brakes working.

If there is a short, the MOSFET will shut of power. The rear CCM is located in the ceiling of the first bay behind the steer axle. Either there is a short, or one of the connectors are open or both MOSFETs have failed. The switch lights up so likely not the multiplex switch. I went into the program and set the calibration for the grey and black tanks using the data supplied in the OM for empty. On a wiring diagram I have for a 2006 Endeavor, both of these pressure switches feed a Bosch relay called brake relay.
