Darkmoon greatsword carried me until final boss and malenia. It’s pretty good hits like a truck the only thing I wish was the moon beams weren’t dependent on the the buff ashes of war being active. Well I went through with it, and I prefer the bloodhound's fang. I fight a lot on horseback, and the grafted sword's speed while mounted is awful. Not great on foot either. It really seems like the fang does more damage per hit also. There's also the blood loss effect to take into account.
