I can't help you if you think 20 or so secs is too slow for you for loading a save game. It might be faster in the full release, but I don't think so. Nothing wrong with your system. For example, in Divinity if Party member 1 and 2 acted together in the turn order, I had to go through party member 1 and then 2.
