I am honestly a bit shocked this happened at the Westin and early in the evening (9:45pm). They are a band, but they will "break it up" to suit your needs. This will be our first trip to St. John and the USVI.We are staying at Gallow Point. Aside from driving around the island is there any practical need for a jeep while we are there? Lots of breeze there to keep bugs off, but still a lot of mosquitoes and no-see ums. We took a spray this year called Sawyers Insect Repellant with 20% picaridin and had fewer bites. As far as the fish ID, I don't know my blennies but that blenny looks like a Yellow Pike Blenny like you thought (just comparing pictures).Save. Just visited Denis Bay- not a great path to carry much- narrow and slippery in spots with trees so you have to duck at times, but it's doable if you had to I suppose. Nice, less crowded spot and good snorkeling on the right side. Fun little island to explore right offshore- great views but slippery.
