I had PIP from an Ultima shot in my glute that was so bad I could barely walk for a few days. I wound up figuring out that if I used a longer needle and got it deep in the muscle it was way better. Also lately I’ve been using insulin needles in my deltoids, and splitting my dose into 3x week rather than 2x for smaller fluid amount.
