Tx22 vs p322.
Alot of people seem to like the tx22 but I just couldn't bring myself to buy a Taurus. I went with the sig p322, it's optics ready, has fiber optic irons, the magazines are relatively inexpensive and it has higher capacity than the 502 and the tx22. It's cheaper than a 502 and is just little bit more than a tx22 but with more bells and whistles.

Totally different feel due to the grip shape, size, and weight difference, but I like them both. The main difference to me, is the P322 is more accurate. I get pretty significantly smaller groups with the P322. Like. Late to the party but great write up! I have the P322, the 502, and both flavors of TX22. The Taurus' and the Sig have been rock solid (granted they all had a few hick-ups) but between the 3 they have probably eaten over 2000 rounds with maybe 10 to 15 FTFs and duds (and no baths) both suppressed and un-suppressed. ...The P322 does have the optic cut. I added a dovetail mount optic plate to my tx22. I have holosun 507k's on both. The P322 has a rectangular steel insert that houses the firing pin, This includes the breech face. It is not user removable. The P322 has been reported to have light strike issues and horrible barrel leading issues over on Sigtalk.It may be strange to hear, but the Taurus TX22 is the gun that these both of these are compared to. What I've found myself is the TX is a bit more reliable out of the box and is a bit more accurate than the P322. Light strikes, especially with Aguila, are fairly common .with the 322 and not with the TX.The TX22 Compact holds thirteen rounds total and comes optics ready for a modern touch. It maintains the affordable nature of Taurus firearms. Plus, it’s just a ton of fun to shoot and train with. The Compact is my favorite model of the TX22 and easily one of the best new .22s. Walther WMP. The Walther WMP was quite a surprise for most of us.
