Kawasaki mule overheating.

1 post · Joined 2017. #1 · Jul 14, 2017. I've had a rough idle with my mule for a couple weeks now. Runs well under load but dies, surges and idles horrible. I've cleaned the throttle body, ruled out bad gas, changed spark plugs, checked the fuel pump and filters. The only thing I've been able to determine is it's running very rich.

Went ahead and replaced both headgaskets, thermostat, lots of gaskets around the manifold/exhaust, sparkplugs and filters. Spent about $150 on parts and its good as new.
