The RMSx features a huge window and therefore is a bigger optic. This makes your gun a little bigger and a little more difficult to conceal. The RMSx is 1.7 inches long but 1.4 inches wide and .9 inches tall. It's a fair bit bigger, but you get lots and lots of window.

The hex is far too dim due to the position of the sensor. It gets shadowed by the hood of the rds very often. And even in the same room with the same lighting when aiming the dot at different areas of the same room it could most definitely cause an issue in a self defense situation due to trying to fish for the dot.
