Killing another scav as scav gives 0,02 rep decrease with fence per kill and cascades for every kill 0,04 , 0,06 etc. As a player scav with +6.65 to +6.75 rep I killed 1 player scav at an airdrop (thinking -.02 to -.1 wouldn't be so bad). I took a -.85 hit. I agree with it but I believe the negative hit is according to your current rep.
Raiders will usually warn you and then eventually attack you if you don't go away. Unless a player scav has already attacked them, then they KoS as far as I know. Aim at the raiders for too long and they shoot you. I've hung out with them for almost 20 mins, just never aimed directly at or near them for more than a few seconds.As someone that is also new, I got -0.5 karma deep before I realized I wasn't supposed to shoot everything that moves as a scav. I only do scav runs when I see these kinds of threads and I go in for the express purpose of killing other scavs. If anything, I would be happy to see a higher penalty because that would indicate I killed a scav karma enthusiast. Because I don't care about scav runs, really none of these penalties people love to suggest would bother me at all.So I decided to install the game after 4 years. It's better to scav the scav box items so you can store them easily and sell in quantities. If you learn the customs stashes thats a pretty good run. Use your scav to learn the maps. Find loot spawns, stashes, extracts and familiarize yourself with the building ins and outs. When it happened last wipe I was always in a squad (scav duos) and know that the round wasn't over as my partner would stream over discord. After waiting for over 10 minutes last wipe I just alt+f4 at the 6 minute mark and reboot. Edit: I usually run scav on interchange. Had this happen on several scav runs this wipe.
