Hold down R3 (the right analog button clicks) and tap power to shut down. I haven't had an issue with ARKOS not loading when I started shutting down like that. I was considering trying ArkOS but thought I’d give a factory reset a go first. So far it seems to have fixed the issue. My device is still running the latest version of JELOS after the reset but the sound is working as expected now.
