There's a couple of weird ways the spend limit algorithm works. It's my understanding (though happy to be corrected if wrong) that whilst you can have a spend limit of >2,000 there are two rules to this: A single transaction must not exceed $1,500 and 2. You must not have more than $2000 outstanding at a given time.
