Gotthard twin blade is very good too especially with chaos or dark gem. Personally I feel gotthard is better for pvp, while sellsword is one of the best early weapons you can get that you can even use throughout the game. 8. The only thing that Sharp gem changes is the DEX scaling. It increases the DEX scaling so that you do even more damage by leveling DEX. But 60 DEX is the way to go on a DEX build. Very viable in PvE, somewhat less so in PvP.
