In my opinion, this iteration's low winrate is because of the difficult execution. Ryze used to be a durable battlemage with short range. They've taken out the durability and replaced it with extra damage. However, the kit is structured as though defensive tools were present. The range is still low, and Ryze's cast times are still intact.
