I played a master lost sector the other day. Attempted it for about 4 hours until I beat it. It was my first time being able to complete one of these and I was really excited about being able to maybe get dawn chorus to get nothing but 2000 glimmer. I tried it a second time. Still nothing. I feel cheated and my time has been wasted. Ran yesterday's Legend one and got legs 4/6 runs, did 5 runs today and not a single exotic arm dropped... Also got no cores on 1 run, which combined with no exotic's or even legendary items dropping was just pure poop. At least I got the load out sorted, Ticcu's, kinetic sniper (long shadow) and Bad Omens makes it much easier than running with the SAW MG for the heavy weapon.I ended up completing another 5 master runs (and failed 3 or 4) without getting anything. Went back to legend and got my 3rd exotic, starfire protocol. Farmable. Just do legends, you can scoot through them in about 3 minutes and eventually get all of that slot of exotics. Do master for a higher drop chance. Legend is very hit and miss. As long as you're doing it solo and you have the respective dlc for the exotic you have a chance every lost sector run. Also make sure to kill every champion that spawns, the more you kill, the higher chance at an exotic.Just received an already owned exotic from Legend Lost Sector (8/27) Misc. If your engrams are full and you get an exotic that goes to the post master and decrypt it from there, it'll reward you with whatever the exotic is for the master lost sector. Yesterday I farmed 2 exotic engrams to my postmaster. I popped them today after reset, they decrypted as Leg Armor. I got the Star-Eaters Scales from the first, and a well-rolled set of FR0ST-EE5 from the second. So it's possible that if it drops in the Lost Sector it gives you Helmets, but if you pop it from the postmaster it gives you boots.
