Check chests in the Mushroom layer and Fake Surface, the Skeleton Merchant sometimes sells it, and if all else fails, go fishing. 4.
Nov 30, 2022 · In DontDigUp and GetFixedBoi seeds no new corruption/crimson is actually generated when hardmode starts. All that happens is hallow replaces one section of corruption/crimson, and spread becomes faster/able to infect more blocks. This means that you can just wall off all the existing corruption/crimson in prehardmode and then you're good ... The reason I'm asking here is because I don't want to research the seed and spoil some of the new features for myself. A lot of things about biomes in general are confusing in the Remix seed (dontdigup), and by extension the Everything seed (getfixedboi). As an example, from what I can tell, everywhere undergound is considered both Cavern and Surface for fishing. Looking at the priority table on the wiki, Cavern is pretty low on the priority list.
