The T18 shaft is supplied with an o-ring on the aft end for sealing which is an upgrade from the T98. In the same picture above on the right you will see a couple of reverse idler gear shafts. The one on the left is the original and the one on the right is NOS. However, the NOS shaft had some rust and I didn't use it.

If I had the XL screen I would try to find an oem 8.X” screen or take a gamble with one of those 12” aftermarket screens. There’s probably a few quirks with going aftermarket though and I’d want to research the options heavily.
