They aren't different from a end user standpoint. To my understanding an nsp is a dump of a game downloaded from eShop, and an xci is a dump of a game off a physical cartridge. There's no difference between installing XCI or NSP files, at least if you look at the outcome. Those installers that are able to install XCIs are just converting them to NSPs before. However, if you're talking about mounting XCIs so they are getting an icon on your homescreen, then no: They are technically inside your nand. There is no real difference between the 2 and yuzu can use both types. Note: always drill down to see the proper status of the DLC .nca file you are managing. Checking and unchecking the .nca file is the way to enable and disable the DLC. The parent container (.nsp file) shows unchecked by default, even if the DLC is enabled. Repeat this process, if you wish, for any other games you would like to manage DLC for. 3. Obtaining the prod.keys is pretty easy. Just run LockPick on your Switch and just copy the prod.keys file from your SD card to your PC. The prod.keys file should get dumped to /switch/prod.keys on your SD card, so just run LockPick and you'll have your prod.keys file for converting games.

Dumped would be xci files (dumped from a cart) and converted is simply converting the file type to nsp.

Enter "nsz" and unselect "use prebuild" then press install. Navigate to "Terminal" to use the "nsz" command. The first time it will tell you where to copy your prod.keys which you should do using the "cp" command. Use any command line arguments you want like "nsz -D file.nsz" to decompress your game.
