Real time data can slow TOS to a grind, especially if you use Active Trader. If your TOS starts grinding intraday the first thing you can do immediately is switch to 3 seconds delay and close AT. Then remove other things you don't need (windows, studies, watchlists, etc). For the type of trading we do, there is practically no gain for 3 seconds ...
