Elites have a 1/30 chance for a mimic, plus a 1/5 chance for a master clue. Masters have a 1/15 chance for a mimic. It’s roughly a 4.4% chance to recieve a mimic from an elite, or to get the mimic from a master dropped by an elite, while it’s a 6.7% chance to land it just doing masters. So basically sticking with masters seems faster to me ...
