The Ruins Greatsword is a much better choice. I love the design of the Blashpemous Blade but that's one of the only reasons I use it, as well as it's lifesteal ability. That being said if you want to be conservative and like playing defensive, the Blashpemous Blade is a good choice but not the best.

Moonveil is really fast to use and does great damage. The nerf hasn’t changed that in the slightest. I think most weapons are better than the DMGS. The parry weapon art is based off of a medium shield parry. As for the greatshield capability you would need to use a greatshield that allows you to use the weapon's WA.

If you CAN hit your combos consistently it will usually end in 2 charged hits and a free crit. So yes in my opinion if you want something that is stylish, fun, and efficient I would highly advise this weapon.Very few normal enemies are left standing after that combo. It's probably the only weapon u can powerstance dual wield by just 2H it. Obviously like any collosal greatsword, u might get into a little trouble against fast attacking enemies but that's not really a Starscourge issue but a collosal greatsword in general weakness.Magic glintblade is good for people who think their shield is going to protect them, but there aren't very many of those anymore.
