The weapon skill, Gold Breaker, has a wide AOE radius and provides hyper armor, making it effective against multiple enemies and bosses. The build focuses on strength, dexterity, and faith to maximize damage output.The one good thing is that it does insane poise damage so it can stagger most enemies. I feel like if the skill was buffed in some way the hammer would be a lot more viable. What are your thoughts on Marika's Hammer? I wish it was better. Fun weapon art. Wish it was better. The range and speed aren’t amazing (Same with most hammers), and split damage is never great. Despite this, I actually that, I had fun using it. You can use it as a secondary weapon and use the Ash of War as a pretty effective finisher in pvp.I like using shard of Alexander, holy scorpion tailsman, Radagon soreseal, and either of the next three, Carian crest, erdtrees favor+2, or the stamina Regen tailsmanMarika's hammer, ringed finger, envoy's horn have completely unique and distinct weapon arts, that is saying something when many so many somber weapons have something generic like spinning slash. Sword, for farming runes or mob clearing cos the AoW as HUGE range. The Hammer's AoW has great dmg assuming you have 5 seconds to spare to proc it. Hammer Ash of war is harder to read in PvP, but sword is much better for farming runes for easy levels at Mohgs Palace. Both so stellar damage in their own right.
