Yes, I had this same issue. I took the top cover off, removed the glove, and vacuumed up all of the loose litter and dust that had made its way all over the place after about 1.5 years of use. Still was getting the over torque fault even though the litter was significantly below the max line. Emptied the globe completely.

I looked up under and into the sensor with the light on my phone, and there were a couple of cat hairs coming in front of the sensor.
