This happens when you unlock the car with the key fob or open the car door. If it is on the right side, then you can access it right behind the glove box and replace it.A bad ground sounds possible. The turn signal stalk is also a possibility. It looks the same as the GM t/s stalks from the 80s and 90s, and I replaced a few of those. The front two were pretty easy, but the back two were a bit more of a pain. I think the back two were really what was causing most of the noise as most of the rubber bushings had pretty much completely deteriorated and weren't even attached to the mount anymore, which was causing all of the clicking and popping noises.
