Pull the shift lever knob and the side plastics. Remove shift lever bolts that hold it to the frame but leave the rest attached.

I snapped all three oil filter housing bolts earlier today. I was using a torque wrench, but I must have found the wrong torque spec and over torqued them. Unfortunately there isn't enough sticking out to grab them with a plier, so I guess that just leaves some kind of extractor bit. The bolt seems to be a 6x18 (# 96001-06018-00)I would start with the easiest fixes first. Try spamming the piss out of up shift, if that doesn't work then hold in the right brake lever and start the bike. It bypass whatever so you can start it in gear.
