Wow - my battery died and I had the same issue on my 2015 OB - the drivers side switch for the passenger window wasn't working.The solution to use the the passenger side switch to roll the window down halfway, then hold roll up for 5 seconds solution worked for me. I think I heard a click too.
2012 Driver Window Issue. Hey Everyone, I've ran into an odd issue with the driver side power window on our 2012 Subaru Outback. The window was occasionally getting stuck in the fully open position and would not close. I replaced the driver side window regulator and fixed that problem, however, I've ran into a new issue.It may have been done as a convenient way to recalibrate the anti-entrapment limit sensing. In addition to disabling one-touch automatic close, disabling the auto-down and driver control of the one-touch passenger window makes it obvious that something needs to be dealt with. 2015 Outback 2.5i Premium. Using the FRONT PASSENGER DOOR window switch, roll the passenger window down completely, hold it for 5 seconds, then roll it all the way back up, hold again for 5 seconds then release. This is the reset procedure for ALL the power windows. See if that fixes the driver side window. DanielAcosta. Also now that I removed the door panel completely and reinstalled it the driver's switch no longer operates the front passenger window or the rear driver's window. Only the wonky driver's front window and seemingly normal operation of the rear passenger's window. Dealership here I come! Thanks for the help though Walker.

There's a window reset procedure that might fix this - maybe caused by the battery disconnect. I believe it's in the owner's manual, but I have a bookmark with the procedure. The front passenger window was down when the battery discharged (left the tailgate up), and so it is down now that the battery is charged and everything else is working. Dec 21, 2020 · 2015 Passenger Window.. not a reset. So I left my outback parked for a few days with a dome light on. It did -not- kill the battery. Now my passenger wont move from EITHER passenger side OR driver side, so it isn't a dead battery reset. I've pulled the battery for 45 min to see if I could force a reset and no luck.
