B. That Billet had already agreed to ACCEPT the compensation offer as a way to make the best of a messy situation (of LMG's creation by auctioning off something they didn't own). Gamers Nexus has a goal of generating revenue as well. It's not as nearly as big as LMG, but it does exist to make money and gives their employees a paycheck.
