But there is also a lot of lateral movement at the top schools.

Best of luck! UWorld is the best. As someone who is a terrible test taker, I can tell you UWorld and their explanations were key for ABIM. Also, I don't know what your career aspirations are, but if you just want to be board certified, look into AOBIM as well. It's the DO equivalent exam but there's no OMT stuff on it. They pay us something like $500 to spend 4 weeks on the inpatient medical service as an observer and part of the medical team, and in this way we get to know them.
