Bottom line: The door does not fully latch when ambient temps are below roughly 55F. It’s fine when it’s warmer. The slide door light indicates a stored code for the doors. If the slide door light is still on then you can jump the #4 and #9 pins of the DLC and then turn on the key to read the codes on the dash. It will tell you where to start looking. Most likely you have a bad switch or stuck gear or cam in the rear door latch.
