Sep 17, 2015 · Dropped off my Rubicon at dealers today. The same problem as described above, after an hour of riding the DCT transmission will not shift. A dash will be displayed on the gear indicator on the instrument panel. Shutting it off will usually enable me to shift back into neutral and start over again. I have had it with Honda. Rather than leave it for 8 hours, just reset it when needed. google the reset. It is key off, in neutral, press up and down at the same time, turn key and release up and down at the same time, when you hear angle sensor going through a cycle then press throttle open and release. You have just reset everything.

Hello, We bought 2 new Rubicon 520 - DCT-IRS-EPS - and they both developed shifting issues around the 400 mile mark. The shifting was very hard and and I was also very concerned about screwing up the gears, until I found out there was a service bulletin out since March 2021.If you ask me, DCT is a waste of money.
