I have a couple of Affinitys and I know they shoulder very similar to a Benelli M2. I haven't been able to find a 48 AL locally and I don't want to order a Fenice until I shoulder it. Less than $200 price difference. Yet, Benelli brand of Beretta hasn't done a bloody thing to fix it in all these years. It is a shame, for there isn't much to get excited about in 20 gauge auto-land today, and there hasn't been for many years. The pricing really isn’t a concern for me, I’m okay spending the money but really don’t want to go over $1300-$1500. I’ve also had my eye on the benelli m2, but wonder if there’s more value in getting the Franchi or Retay over the name benelli.

The Affinity is the "poor man's" M2. Search YouTube, there are comparison videos between the M2 and Affinity. IMO the Affinity points/shoots/handles like a dream. Just under 1000 rounds on my 12ga Affinity. The camo finish is on its 3rd season and still looks great. Never shot a Stoeger, but I didn't care for the"feel" in the store.

I bought a 28” 12GA Affinity when Franchi first released them. The gun now has a camo stock & forearm but still functions flawlessly.
