Dodge Caliber: Intermittent Starting Problem. I’ve had a problem with my 2009 Dodge Caliber not starting intermittently for almost two years. I recorded the problem (see the link to the video below). The only pattern that I’ve noticed is that the problem seems to be absent 24 hours after disconnecting and reconnecting the battery.

Check all your speaker connections because if there's a short in just one connection the radio will terminate the audio to all speakers. I had the same issue and I traced it to a small short in the front door speaker.
