These people truly believe that owning an animal is as hard, if not harder than raising a child. It’s always the same argument. They say things like “my dog doesn’t argue with me.”, my dog would never stab me in the back.”. These arguments are invalid because pets are not even capable of doing those things.

Biggest factor is that people don't really walk their cats. There are no such things as "cat parks." DarkCloudParent. ADMIN MOD. Follow up on reporting fake service dog. Science / Laws. I posted the other day about a fake service dog in retail. Ever since I was a toddler, I've adored learning all I could about animals, animal behavior, etc. My animal science knowledge was so good in school that I'd impress my teachers. People come to me when they need advice on pets. There are so many advantages to being pet free. Let’s bring some positivity. Your living space doesn’t stink like animals. No pet rent or pet deposit. Some just don't like to be forced to interact with animals, such as those afraid of dogs or allergic to dogs and cats. Some are against the idea of owning pets as they feel it is immoral to keep a sentient creature trapped inside a small yard or house. Some are against pets because they are bad for the local ecology and the overall environment.2. Sin animales domésticos. Another way to express “pet-free” in Spanish is by using the term “Sin animales domésticos.” This phrase translates to “Without …

Totally agreed. I think one of the biggest issues of pet culture is how people think animals are deeper than they really are. A dog can't help you get out of depression. A cat can't give you advise. A parrot can't understand fix your anxieties. Animals don't comprehend any of these major human issues.Wild animals just don't belong in human society. Dogs don't belong stuck in your car, stuck alone in your home bored and alone, etc. They don't love their animals at all. If they did they wouldn't treat them like they do. I'm not saying all people don't care. To put it nicely with calling them names, I just think humanity's love is very misguided.Welcome to r/petfree! Please read this before commenting.
