Questions about the PAEA EOC and PANCE. So I just took the PAEA EOC yesterday. How does score interpretation work? I got a 1505. Can I take my 1505 and divide it by 1800 to get my percentage questions right? Is that score satisfactory? I sit for the PANCE on the 12th of December. Is that decent odds of passing? 1.If you have PAEA exams, look at the blueprints, make study guides.. that's what I did. Did fine on all my rotation exams with that method. Eventually you'll start seeing overlap. The more you do, the easier they get. In my opinion EM was the toughest. And I agree with rev, the only score that matters is the one that is considered passing.

My EOR scores ranged from 80-97% and I passed the PANCE very easily. Technically my PANCE score percentage-wise was higher than half of my EORs. If you were getting higher than 70% on your EORs then I wouldn't worry at all. Took it a couple weeks ago. My EOR grades avg about 85-88. Technically, we cannot fail more than one “rotation” and are allowed to repeat 1 rotation if you do fail it. Unfortunately, getting less than a 74.5% on the EOR exam automatically fails you even if you get a B on the rotation overall. Last month was my first one, it was Family Practice, I earned a 375 but needed a 382 (74.5%) to pass.

There is no EOR score that is an indicator of passing the PANCE definitively speaking. But if you are habitually performing well or poorly on most EORs, that can tell you kinda where you might land in terms of passing or failing but there is nothing out there that is definitive. As you can see, the top two subjects are dermatology and HEENT—rashes and ear infections are key! Close runner-ups include infectious disease and pulmonology. I finished only 44% of the rosh questions, 73% of questions correct (which was par for the course for all of my EOR q-banks as well).
