I also plan to replace the valve cover gasket, plug tube seals, etc. Probably will replace the spark plugs as well. I have the FSM and I have watched quite a few YouTube videos.

110,000 miles and I have noticed that the valves are a little noisy until the it warms up. I am assuming that it is due for adjustment. Feedback apprecitated. I would have them checked based on mileage alone. A tight (quiet) valve can do a ton more damage than a loose noisy one.

These prices are insane…don’t get me wrong there is some labor involved but $700+ to pull the fairly easily accessible valve covers is crazy. Figure ~4hrs tops to do this if you’re taking your time.
